Apple Creek, Ohio, March 27, 2006 -- CADLock, Inc. has launched new public NNTP discussion groups for use by customers and partners. The discussion groups provide an open forum for communication between CADLock staff and customers, as well as peer-to-peer discussions of CADLock software. The product support discussion group will be a primary source of technical and product support for the growing number of users of CADLock software.
CADLock recently released CADVault® for AutoCAD®, its next generation drawing file security product, and the new discussion forum is one of several significant changes that is accompanying the release of the new software. Steve Johnson, CADLock Director of Online Operations, explained "We've completely redesigned our web site in an effort to simplify the interface and improve the user experience. The new discussion forum has been added to facilitate efficient dialog with and among a growing user community. We've also added new FAQ sections to the web site to answer many common questions; we've added a database backend to make our content more dynamic; our new online store is a secure way to purchase our products quickly and easily from anywhere in the world." He added, "We're going to continue making improvements!"
The new discussion forum is an NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol) service that requires use of a newsreader like Outlook Express to access. Detailed instructions for accessing the discussion forum are available in the product support section of the CADLock web site, at http://www.cadlock.com/support. Currently the forum includes groups designated for product and technical support; a user feedback group for feature requests, bug reports, and general product discussions; and a group for CADLock news and other announcements.
