Apple Creek, Ohio, May 30, 2007 -- CADLock, Inc. announced today that a public preview of CADVault 5 is now available for free download at http://www.cadlock.com/download/. The public preview provides customers and potential customers with an opportunity to test the new version before it is officially released.
CADVault 5 incorporates feedback received from customers since the first version of CADVault shipped one year ago. Major improvements based on this feedback include the following:
CADVault 5 will be a free upgrade for CADVault 4 users that purchased their license within the past year, and the public preview will work with an existing CADVault 4 license certificate if one is installed. No pricing changes are planned.
Owen Wengerd, CADLock, Inc. VP Americas, explained "We have a philosophy of not shipping software until we are sure it is ready, and this public preview gives us one last chance to find and fix problems before the software is officially released. If no major problems are found, we expect the new version to ship by the middle of June."
